The BMC Regional Bicycle Facilities dataset contains all existing bicycle trails, paths, and lanes (facilities) in the Baltimore metropolitan region. Planned bicycle facilities are not included. All facilities follow the jurisdiction street centerline with the exception of off-road paths. Off-road paths are included in the same layer but they are not built from centerline data. This dataset was derived from the One Maryland One Centerline system and updated in 2024 by BMC based on review and public comment from the Bikeable Baltimore Region project.
